“Campaign Adios” is a nationwide
initiative to replace all incompetent persons currently serving on local
councils and commissions and in our state and national capitols. STATE AND NATIONAL
OBJECTIVES: The
National and State Objectives are to completely replace all incompetent
elected individuals in Congress and the states’ legislative branches by
January 1, 2011 and identify a quality individual to replace the worst
President since Jimmy Carter by January 20, 2013. All incompetent members of the U. S. House
of Representatives must be replaced. Citizens may review their
Representative’s voting record at
Project Vote Smart and
through
Open Secrets.org. A good
rule of thumb to determine if your Representatives need to be fired is to see
if he or she is in the “
Aye” list of
the
American
Clean Energy and Security Act. By November 2010 we expect the
lead candidates for national office to be new or previously overlooked faces
on the political landscape. Next we must eliminate a significant
portion of the U. S. Senators who are up for reelection. The election cycle
for U. S. Senators are divided into three election cycles. We must work to
replace all the incompetent Senators by the end of the third U. S. Senate
election cycle in 2014. Again, you
need to fire those who voted “
Yes” for the
American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act of 2009. Democrats need to be challenged in the
Primary election by those Democrats who are willing to truly represent the
working man—steadfast in reduced government interference, massive decreases
in government spending and an all-out war against unjust taxation. Union
members must be especially vigilant in preventing further destruction to
their negotiated health care benefits, compromising of their retirement
funds, and restrictive job market advances associated with policies invoked
by the environmental whacks. Republicans should wave the banner that
mirrors the intentions of the Founding Fathers; an extremely limited national
government which adheres to constitutional restrictions and gets the
government out of the lives of the average citizen while protecting their
unalienable rights, including religious freedom. Those candidates who can’t bear the burden
of either major party affiliation need to run solely on their patriotic
convictions and need to be fully considered by those who vote; Party should
be the last consideration when voting – the voter’s decision must be based on
the quality of the candidate and their representative values. Another responsibility we all share is the
need to promote the idea of limiting the tenure among elected officials and
change the job-for-life-appointments of U. S. Supreme Court Justices. LOCAL OBJECTIVES: The cliché
that surmises “All politics is local” is valid. As the states and federal
governments had forced their way into the local political landscape, the
local governments have become more dependent on the larger government
bureaucracies; in-turn local governments have become decreasingly irrelevant,
disenfranchised and will eventually become obsolete. Citizens
need to replace their gutless council members and commissioners and replace
them with individuals reflecting the fortitude of the local constituency. Individuals serving on councils and
committees have to learn to become more independent, not relying on superior
government hand-outs to accomplish tasks and assist in paying for services. Township and county governments should work
together to eliminate property taxes on primary residences sitting upon 40
acres or less by replacing the property tax with the sales tax. In Michigan
the current 6% sales tax should stay in the county; obviously it has done
nothing to help Michigan get out of debt and impaired progress in cities and
townships throughout the State. Ultimately, citizens should push for their
local chartered government to collect all taxes, including sales and both
national and state income taxes. A reasonable flat tax would be determined by
the local chartered governments, not by the Treasury Department, IRS or even
Congress. Graduated federal taxes would be outlawed. The local chartered government would keep
half and send the remainder to the county, who in-turn would keep half. Of
the remaining monies, half would be sent to the state and the other half to
the national government – period. The local chartered governments should be
responsible for collecting delinquent taxes, eliminating the need for the
state and national governments to conduct audits of your citizens. Dissolving the banana republic of the United States
The current $12 trillion plus national debt is staggering. One
Democratic talking-head actually said something to the effect that if we keep
up this current trend it could bankrupt the United States. Evidently being
$12 trillion plus in the hole isn’t quite viewed as being bankrupt by the
members of the Great Northern Banana Republic. Proposed limitations on spending must be
restricted to direct and indirect goods and services provided to the national
government, without exception. The
less the national government needs to efficiently operate the more money
stays in the states, allowing the states to experience reciprocal economic
growth. Changing the Dynamics of America
Are you able to distinguish more clearly the difference between good
and evil? Citizens who are inclined to
believe they are Created by God and not descendents of monkeys need to
prayerfully consider their purpose in life and whom they should support and
most importantly for whom they should vote.
The spiritual decay of America coincides with the growth of contempt
towards the citizenry by the elected, the appointed, and disappointingly, by
too many government employees. There is no mission greater among God’s
people than the protection of His Word and proclamation of His Grace and
